That's crazy , when I took my Hot Wheel Camaro to it's first show I had the opposite happen. A young couple who run a car show came up to me asked me if it was my car and did I customize the hot wheels look ? Once I told them that GM made it like this and there was only 36 in Canada they could not have been nicer. They took a bunch of pictures and we got an invite to their show as they wanted it to be in a special coral .

I always love it when posers at car shows starting spouting off their ignorance.
Dude, if you don't know about the car, don't lie about it. ASK, most drivers will be glad to talk about their cars! I'm going to my first Cars & Coffee this Saturday and the local Ferrari club is going to have about 8 cars there. I can't wait to talk to those guys as I've never seen a real Ferrari in person other than in passing on the road. hopefully the owner of the DeTomasa Pantera shows up too.
