Those were truly awesome deals. It takes the depreciation hit out of the picture.

Me, too...well at invoice (just 2 weeks ago) but we should point out to the OP that the 20% off discount GM was offering at the end of 2014 was only for select dealer inventory (= oldest on the lot).....its not like all ZL1's are/were discounted below 50k, but they are very negotiable from their MSRP for ones that you can find on your dealers lot today.

Agreed. You could finance, no money down, 60 mos. @ 1.9% and never have negative equity. Makes a lease kinda useless. Not that you'd lease a car like this anyway.

I did provide an intelligent response and you resorted to name calling.

I suppose I will still try to answer your question but based on your ability to spell it will likely go over your head.

99.9% of cars are depreciating assets (if you can call them an asset) which are heavily affected by market conditions and good old fashioned supply and demand. While the market for sportscars is decent in size, this specific niche is somewhat small based on price point; it also doesn't help when the Z28 competes in the same segment. When considering the current competition and levels of performance, the available buyers want the biggest bang for their (not there) buck which has been the GT-500 and is now the Hellcat.

Does (not dose) that make sense (not since)?

What's amusing is how you perceive someone who makes not one, but two attempts at helping you, to be an arrogant Jerk.

I'm sure in your book I'm right up there with parents, teachers, cops who ticket you for doing nine over when you were criminal speeding, etc.

Here is a thought; maybe if there were more jerks in your life you could compose an intelligent question or retort.

I'm always amazed when people defend, justify, or deflect altogether, rather than taking the opportunity to learn and/or improve.

The comical thing about your post (which in fact proves my point) is that although it is possible to comprehend the intended message; the process is either painful or requires special software. LOL

- to be extraordinarily anal the word *possessive* has FOUR s's.
THAT SAID.... I'm looking for a ZL-1. I'll take my time as I love my 1LE but if I can get a deal similar to some of you in the mid 40k range - I'm buying.

Logan1234, this is a Camaro related website. In a post that had nothing to do with spelling or grammar. In your first post you were completely off topic and did nothing to help answer the OPS question. Rather you chose to pick on someone you felt you could make fun with all the world to see. I am guessing the OP or most people on here care for your off topic intrusion. If they did they would not come to this site to educate themselves on those subjects. Have a nice day everyone.
