When you put the spoiler back on, what did you torque the nuts down to? I ask because I heard a rattle in my trunk lid and 2 of the spoiler nuts fell out! I figure I better check the torque on all 4 now.

I have some minor scratches along the decklid spoiler that i want to buff out, been there since delivery.
So it would be best to take off the spoiler, do these retainers break when you deinstall the ZL1 spoiler, or do they only break when you try to get the retainers off of the spoiler after removing it?

Replaced mine with a carbon fiber spoiler. Purposely broke the two retainers that could not be unbolted. Did not replace them. The spoiler is extremely secure without them.

Thanks for the info.
At least i dont have to drive around without the spoiler if they break (even though it seems like they WILL break). I don't know if the spoiler is still secure at high speeds. Would be a shame if i see it taking off in the rearview mirror. Let alone dangerous. Anyone has a part number for the retainers?
