Power Steering flow rate?

Does anyone know how quickly the power steering pump moves fluid through the system? This is primarily curiosity while try to get air out of my system after adding another cooler (additional quart of fluid). Does it move slow enough to make it feasible for one person to keep it topped off while the other works the wheel (with the engine on at idle)?

Answered this question myself - for posterity:

I followed the instructions of the following (I believe it's the factory service manual) for bleeding the power steering fluid:

(Control-F POWER STEERING SYSTEM BLEEDING to jump to it):

The important part (for me) is this:

Quote:
Fill the power steering fluid reservoir with fluid to the bottom of the filler neck.
I was only filling it to normal levels - I believe that this caused the pump (which likely already had air in it) to suck in a large amount of fluid, to the point where it actually started sucking in air - especially when I started it up (higher RPMs caused it to suck more fluid in).

Anyways, hope this helps someone else!
