Midas

had my son stop there on his way home the other day for me (i get out of work to late) to get me a cost on cutting of H-Pipe & installing a resonated X-Pipe & cutting off mufflers to add straight pipe w/tips that i have.

guys tells my son (not that car knowledgeable) that he can't cut off mufflers cause that it is illegal. then tells him can't get rid of H-Pipe cause will cause all kinds of problems. obviously the guy had no clue what the X-Pipe was!

now i need to find a new place to get this done, no true exhaust shops in my area anymore...

is any of what he said true? or was he just confused ?

midas is leading the clown department. however the res x pipe is still pretty large to put in that space. yes it fits just fine but if i lug the motor (take off in second) it will hit the heat shield and rattle. guess its a good reason to swap out for some poly motor mounts!
