Lifespan of the brake rotors
Does anyone on here happen to know (from experience preferably) how long the rotors last on the car if it's used for daily driving and no track driving?
I'm asking because they are so expensive to replace that I'm worried I may not be able to drive it very much |

It should last the life of the car in street driving. It is only when you start overheating the rotor at the road course track when it starts losing the integrity due to material 'evaporating', which could cause a cave-in if the rotors are not checked (weighed) every once in a while.
In short, for your use case, you should never need to change it.

The only other reason you might need to change is if you wait too long to change pads. Rotor can be damaged beyond repair. Not sure if carbon fiber rotors have additional issues.

Probably longer than you'll keep the car. I put 7,500 track miles on my ZR1 are the front rotors are done, but rears look almost new.
Cheapest place to buy them is Amazon at $1,100 per rotor For street driving they will last over 150,000 miles I would say the most likely way to damage them is taking a wheel off and accidentally chipping edge of rotor when reinstalling wheel. Ian |

I heard something ludicrous that to replace all the tires, brakes, and rotors you are looking at the price of a Chevy Cruise....
