3 weeks after delivery update:

Over the past week I spent some time painting under the hood. Initially, the strut bar was going to be temporarily used with Plastidip, but it looks way too good to take it off. The color matches my Red Hot perfectly.

I then took off my coil packs and used the high heat engine enamel. This process maybe took 45 minutes (not including dry time and the cure bake).

If you have been thinking about purchasing a new engine cover to replace the stock one, I would recommend just painting the coil packs - it looks really smooth!

This week I also received my CAI Inc. intake from a great guy on these forums (3k miles on it). I love the black! It definitely looks better to me than the silver CAI I had on my 2013 2SS.

Oh...I also pulled the NPP fuse!

How different does red plastidip look than crystal red tintcoat?

I found it at our local Menards home improvement store. Home Depot and Lowes just had grey and white.

Not sure- but it's really good looking! Go buy some or order it on Amazon. Test it out for $5.
