Nice read.

Just wish I saw more Z/28 on the road. Hell I hardly ever see another ZL1.....lol

Encouraging to me because I have yet to really drive my car

It always surprises me, when I read the reader comments on these articles, that so many people hate on our cars. I can't understand that at all.

I agree with every point made in the article. I've put almost 2000 miles on my Z/28 and can confirm that it's a very capable daily driver while being extremely fun to drive at the same time.

There are plenty of hardcore cars that are just as harsh as the Z/28 to drive on the street, and yet people give them credit for being a "great daily driver." For example:

911
Evo
Viper
GT-R (suspension in R mode or with coilovers)

Bottom line:

I kind of think GM advertising the Z/28 as a track car is somewhat off from the best marketing strategy. They should advertise it as a Camaro made into a supercar.

A Viper sucks as a DD. A Porsche 911 feels cushy in comparison.

My GTR sucked as a DD... My Z28 is so much better...From the better ride to the lack of noise and vibration from the Gearbox...no question.

A lot more fun on the track to.
