Dealership. They use Mobil 1 Synthetic. It's what the engineers at GM recommend. Plus the peace of mind that they will have all my service records in the event of warranty issues.

The dealer [Monday morning]. They can also hook your car up and download all updates that are available for your car [free].

I went to the Dealer at 750 miles, because i have a 1500 mile trip to take and did not want to wait until 2250 miles for first change.

Did the first one myself. Will have the dealer do the next few because they are free for a year. Then I'll go back to the drive way. On the V6 this is one of the easiest things to do considering the filter is on the top of the engine.

I will be doing mine myself, however if I wasn't going to I would definately take it to the dealer not some Jiffy lube or other b.s place. If you personally knew a guy who had his own little shop and was reliable maybe but you still gotta be careful who you let do work on this car since it's so new no one knows anything about them right now except specially trained auto mech.s .

Mine will be done in my garage. Mobil 1 synthetic oil and PureOne micro oil filter. I use these in all of my vehicles and the engines last forever.

1st one was done at the dealer as it was free. 1500 miles.

Will also do the remaining at the dealer, however I will purchase the Mobile 1 at Wal-Mart. Much cheaper than what the dealer charges for the same oil.

Although the filter is easy to get to I've laid under too many cars at this point in my life to keep doing it if I don't have to, LOL!

The charge at my dealer for this car, Oil, Filter & labor was $104.00.
They charge almost twice what Wal-Mart wants for the Mobile 1.

Keep in mind the V8 holds a little more than 8 Qts!

Definatley going to my Dealer. Have always changed the oil myself in the past, but my dealer is giving me "Tires for Life" if I bring in my Camaro for all scheduled services.

I'll be discussing this in great detail and reding the "fine print" next Tuesday when I pick her up. If it looks shady with lots of loop-holes, then I'll be doing them all myself with Mobile1 Full Syn.

Praying for a Dealership guarantee on the "Tires for Life Program." He advertises it everyday on the Radio. (rollin the dice)
