exhaust starting to rattle

Guys. I attempted to fix the exhaust and it started rattling again even though I tightened the exhaust. Can I put a thin piece of wood between the tunnel brace and the exhaust pipe? I'm not racing or anything. Will it burn? It sounds stupid but I need a solution.

Don't forget to add some kindling and some accelerant, gasoline would probably do the trick.
