Is there an NPP(?) style exhaust for the LFX?

I would love a more aggressive exhaust note, but I also don't want to wake my neighbors when I head off to work in the morning.

Is there an exhaust setup for the LFX that is quiet (perhaps more so than stock) at idle, then gets loud and aggressive under throttle?

Yes, our V6 can have the NPP exhaust. In fact, you can have this option installed from the factory as well.

You can buy a used one from any member around, ebay, or craiglist. There are sold for around 500-700$. Purchase a NPP diffuser, around 110$, swap the diffuser by yourself (there is a tutorial in the DIY section: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=153221). Is not that hard, but pain in the ass.

I have the GM NNP exhaust and love it. It is deeper than the stock but not really loud. It gets loud once you hit 3000K.

Does anyone know if the V6 and V8 get the same npp or does the v6 get a smaller diameter pipe? And for that matter is the zl1 npp bigger than the ss? I'd like to get a factory npp axle back if I knew it was at least 2.5" and wouldn't hurt flow too much when open and straight through. I haven't seen the inside of them though.

I like the idea of closing them when I want to be quiet and just driving normal, and I love the oe look of the tips and the mufflers.

Based on what I was told by a guy, the V6 one is slightly quieter “gentle” than the SS one... I might be wrong though.

I didn't buy it by itself. When I order this 2015 Camaro, I ordered it with GM GFX so that came in a kit with the front splitter and side rockers.

i have the NPP installed from the dealer. I pulled the fuse so it is always open and always loud. However, if you dont want to wake your neighbors just dont hit the gas as hard, when you get away from where you live start hitting the gas. Around 3000RPM (depending on mode) it will open up and get louder

The npp I had installed in my car from the factory went from 2.75 inch pipe to a stock l99 resonater and finnished off with 2.5 the rest of the way back to the mufflers

This is the "performance exhaust" upgrade my dealership installed.

No quad tips/rear fascia. I was pissed.

The difference? The tips are now smaller. No longer flared. And the mufflers hang sideways like a retarded monkey.

Make sure you get NPP if you want quad tips. I think they stuck me with "n10", at least thats what they call it in the accessories catalog at the dealer.

They do have little chevy bow ties on them though.

This is what they gave me:

Yeah, gotta agree with you there - those mufflers are fugly in that position. Does it at least give you the sound you want?

There was barely any difference from stock to this.

Then I put a CAI Inc. CAI on and pulled the fuse.

Shes LOUD now. Now I have the sound I want. Which is why I can cope

I really want that Z28 rear diffuser though. I guess the only way I can get it is to order the GFX kit?
