I thought I read somewhere that the old stick axle won't fit without some major work, including cutting the underbody structure. I am sure in time someone might figure it out without all the cutting.
I am also sure that if the design is good, than one of the aftermarket tuners will come out with all the right stuff to keep the IRS from imploding.

Finally, had a chance to run with my new setup in good air. Still way behind Pat who was in the 10s all day except for one 11.0 run. His best was 10.775.
I am still mired in the mid 11s. My best 2 runs of the day below. That 11.603 is my best so far but I think the other one was better with only the bad 60' at the root of the slow time. In that faster run I was smoking the tires at the top of first and into second. Finally, traction problems. I am still learning the DYAD clutch. It has a very low engagement point and does not fully engage until almost the top of the travel. So you have to let out the clutch fast smoothly. Too slowly and the car slowly comes off the line and then shoots ahead at about 100 feet if the traction is there. But still a bad 60'. Fun day hanging out with the SJ Camaro guys and the Pig Vicious Racing Team on the left side of the track. Pat of course was killing on the lights all day with a best of .001. ![]()

Definately getting there. Keep working on it and bottom 11/10s will be in your future.

Went back to the Atco today to the Grocery Getter event. I did not race Pat, but I would have beaten him!!!!
Okay, so he came in his wife's Dodge Caliber. He was competing. He made it through the first round and would have made it to the third, but he broke out by .01. I was his fan section. He was spooked by the Pro tree so no .00 lights for Pat today. But since there were so few fast cars there was almost no track prep I think. Or maybe the track was too cold. At 10 pounds I was spinning in second and a little in third down the track. So I moved back down to 7 pounds and it was only slightly better. The 1LE was making huge power up top at 40 degrees F. the DA was -2052 at 11 AM. LOL Ran a 12.33 shifting below 6000 or there abouts with a 2.3 60'. Best run of the day. Double LOL.

We are one week away from the opening day at Atco. This morning the DA at Atco at 9 AM was -3746! Can't wait for next week. 10s for sure.

LMK when you go. I ran at Atco when I only had a CAI. I have headers, HFC, full exhaust, cai, ptb, and most importantly - a tune now. I have been dying to run. WTB Good weather!

I will be out of the country next week. Hoping the week of March 9th things warm up! I most likely will not go unless we get some good track prep and about 50 degrees. It gets a little loose on full boost otherwise.

Also, is there a loss in ground clearance with a TT setup? |

Not with an AGP kit. Some of the others do hang below the frame rails but the cast pieces of the AGP not only are more reliable, but tuck everything up nicely.

Not sure about the trans brake for an auto, but I know a two step and better tires would get me closer to 10s with no other changes even at my power level.

Finally made it out to Atco tonight. It was an awful night for me trying to find traction. But the auto 5th gens did good. StealthPanda hit mid 12s running on all season tires. We had a fun run where he got a huge jump on me and I had to run him down on the big end. It was close. He has a good running L99. BilySpeed with his Kenne Bell powered vert took me down 4 times in a row. Autos are the plan at the drag strip.
Pat was there. We didn't bother running with me mired in the mid 12s. He spent his night embarrassing a Turbo 911 and running neck and neck with a tuned Hellcat with DRs. ![]()
