Let me check with my production guy-the shifters and ignition plaques (pretty much anything with gel dome finish) are made by a 3rd party and I know that individually they waste a lot of material so he tries to gang-run a bunch of orders once or twice a month.

Recent pieces, some made from mirrored steel, some from chrome acrylic. The difference is hard to tell, they both have excellent reflection quality and brilliant, long-lasting finishes.
