ADM built summit white 2013 ZL1
I’m thinking that I might want to sell my ADM built 2013 ZL1 to build an actual race car. Living 8 miles from a drag strip just makes it too…..convenient.
And I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised that I’m already thinking about selling it, I’ve owned 13 cars in 20 years. I don’t keep anything for very long. I only kept my 2011 SS for two years before I traded it for this ZL1. I bought the car new 15 months ago with 7 miles on it. Loaded A6, sunroof, nav, ECF, everything. The car has 7700 miles on it now, and it’s never been to GM for service or a warranty claim. This thing is solid. The blower has never been off the car, no rattles from the isolator or anything. Somewhere around the 3000 mile mark I contacted Andy at ADM looking for some upgrades. Andy did one of his street intakes, a 90mm GM throttle body, a 9.55 lower on an ATI damper, an LS9 cam, Stainless Works 1 7/8” headers, ID 1000 injectors, and an ADM/Ron Davis heat exchanger. The car went from 470rwhp to 605rwhp on straight 93 octane. And on a 20” M/T drag radial, has made a bunch of 11.0 passes during the hot Texas summer. The car has an easy 10.8x in it with better weather, maybe faster….and is full weight on 93 octane. And I bet it’ll easily go 10.6’s with more octane. And it knocks down 19mpg on the highway at 70-75mph. The car is flawless. Truly. I’m not completely certain I want to sell it, but if I can get the right money for it....I'll build a race car. KBB shows private party value at $44,500 and NADA shows clean trade in at $45,700. If I can get $47,500 for the car, it’s yours. I won’t take anything less. I’ll just keep it, and build a race car anyways. Or maybe I’ll just have Andy throw some twins on this thing and we’ll shoot for 9.90’s and this will be the race car. ![]() I’ll also throw in the 2 extra stock rear wheels that I have the M/T drag radials mounted on. Let me know if anyone is interested. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Don't do it!! Just let Andy work his magic and there is your race car unless you are wanting to run in the 7's I say just keep it.

Noooooooo... why does it have to have a sunroof? Looking to buy within the next 30 days and this is EXACTLY what I've been looking for - would've sent you a deposit today to hold it!
But at 6'4" 230lbs with a long torso sunroof is no dice - I can barely fit without one. Beautiful car at a great price built by a great shop - this should sell quickly! Paul...

Are you sure you can't just stick your head out the roof? I could have even delivered it. I have family just a few miles north of you in Ottawa. |

Man, I really wish I could... but having driven a non-sunroof car for the last 3 yrs I know there's no way - dammit! No sunroof and 6l90e are my only gotta haves - or NOT HAVE as the case may be ![]() And you wouldn't have had to deliver - I'd have had you drop it with Andy for a few small additions ![]() GLWS - having been looking for the last couple months for stock or ADM-built cars - this really is a great deal!! BTW - I know Andy's a genius; if he's got a way to free up 1.5-2" headroom let me know. I'll be the only one driving so I'd be open to fixed mounting the seat!

Still toying around with the idea of selling this car. 9800-ish miles on it now.
Still flawless, and now its got a set of the black factory wheels on it. Still have the polished wheels too. $45k. |

Stock style suspension. Full interior. Well thought out combo. Could be put in the street with a cam change.
