1" drop with 20x10 & 20x11 ZL1 Wheels (replicas)

Anyone running a 1" drop with 20x10 & 20x11 wheels? Wheel offsets are +23 on the front and +43 on the rear. ZL1 replica wheels. She's a 2010 2SS. Put the new wheels and tires on but I'm looking to get a lower stance.

Just trying to make sure I don't run into any clearance issues. Ground clearance I'm not really worried about as I don't drive the car much. She's more of a weekend cruiser than anything.

New to this site and the whole posting thing. I read a lot of them for information but have never posted. Got a lot of respect for all you folks on here. Tons of knowledge.

I have factory 1LE wheels, which are the same size as yours but I think the replicas have a more aggressive offset.

In any case, I am lowered 1.25" and have ZERO issues. Again, I am not sure on factory offset, but finding that info should help a lot.

Good luck man!

Much appreciated! Looking up the specs of those.

I'm still kicking around the idea of going slightly lower. Maybe 1.25 but unsure as of yet. I finally started playing with parts and build ideas, but a little late in the game. Its going in storage this summer for the next 3 years, unfortunately.

I do appreciate the info !

Pretty sure the replicas and OEM wheels have the same offset.

What I've found so far, is the same specs.
20x10 +23 & 20x11 +42.

I guess I don't follow what you mean on this one.

The specs are 20x10 +23 fronts, and 20x11 +43 rears, and I think the replicas just copy the offsets, too. My brother's car is lowered 1.5" on coilovers, and he did not run into any issues.

I'm lowered 1.4 up front 1.2 in rear with factory reproductions 10/11 combo. The front 10inch comes in two offsets +23 and +35. I have the +23 which tucks just barely into the fender. +35 would defintely rub on my front end I imagine it would do the same

The stock height already has .25" rake, so you increased it to about .5"?

I've never actually done that math but yes that sounds correct. I really like the 1.4/1.0 bmr combo but felt the rear still had a little to much tire gap so got the best of both worlds... A little more rake with less tire gap. Here's a pic

Ah. Now I'm tracking!

So I ended up ordering the BMR 1.25 drop springs, catch can, phantom grill (upper & lower).

I also have some body kit work I'll be doing in the next 2 weeks. Now that the weather is warmer, I can finally do the body kit. It's been sitting in the garage since middle of January. Ordered the wheels, tires and body kit all in one run.

I'll throw up some before & after pics once complete.

I'll keep the ziptie piece in mind when I run through all of this. Hopefully I can finish it all between a Saturday & sunday. Got a body lift I can use to knock it all out in one run.

Thanks for the info everyone!

Thank you for catching the error. It was a typo. I meant +43.
