Looking for coil overs with 2.5 spring.
Hi guys been trying to call BC racing for days they do not answer their phones. But I want to find a set of front and rear coil overs that use a 2.5 spring front and rear. Most Camaro coilovers have a large rear coil spring. I'm looking for coilovers I can swap out springs.
So far from what I can see bc racing is the only ones. But they are impossible to reach even via email. Pfadts are nice but too far out of my budget. |

you can use a 2.5" spring on BC's, they use 62mm springs, but only on the front.
They do not make an adapter to us a 62mm ID top and Bottom spring in the rear due to the rear mount. The Ride Techs are the only ones that i know of that are close, but even theirs uses a different style rear spring. |

RideTech has a variety of springs to go with their coilovers and you can order them with different spring rates at no extra charge.

I see the ride techs are sold as stage 2. What's considered stage 1?

Unfortunately, we don't offer a stage 1 for the 5th. Gens. As Chase said, a stage 1 would be considered just an upgraded damper assy., not an entire CoilOver. Also, our CoilOvers do use a 2.5" I.D. coil spring.

Ridetech's will offer better comfort vs the BC's.

Ridetech is definitely higher quality and engineered specifically for the Camaro. It is going to perform better all around, whether you are talking about performance on track or ride quality on the street.

Ridetech coil overs are $2100 and when the Pfadt coil overs are re-released they are going to be $3025. For the money I can't justify telling someone the extra $1000 is worth it. The Ridetech coil overs are extremely well engineered, have outstanding build quality, perform extremely well, and have a 1,000,001 mile warranty.

The afe pfadt system does have an additional fluid reservoir built into the assy.for additional cooling that the Ride Tech Level Two system does not. They are both WELL PROVEN systems! Orange 2010 Camaro |
