header gasket recommendations

I wanted everyone's opinion. I have my header arriving on Saturday and want to have everything for install. Is the OEM gm. Gasket the best?

Also where can I find the o2 extenders for a l99.

Thanks

We suggest OEM gaskets on most quality header brands.

If the flange is not perfectly flat you may need a thicker softer gasket to seal it up.

I stock O2 extension harnesses, Not sure if that is what your asking.

Ted.

GM gaskets are the way to go. Your Kooks headers should include the 02 extension harnesses.

The Texas Speed headers only come with GM gaskets. They're by far the best.

I agree with the guys above I think your kooks will have the o2 extensions in the box.

My installer says the OEM gaskets were damaged during removal, he is putting on Kooks gaskets.

What is the worst case? Should I get OEMs and have them install at a later date?

I think I would get some OEM gaskets. I have read where others have had leaks with the Kooks gaskets but that was back in 2010 when I was doing mine. Maybe the Kooks gaskets got better but if it were me I would get some new OEM's in there.
