I got my V6 in May of '09 and have not regretted it a bit. Great looks, exceptional performance, cheaper insurance, and less $$ at the pump! Best car I have ever owned with the exception of my classic cars.

And has 1500 posts. Given he has a mod list, he may be discovering the difficulty and cost associated with hopping up the V6 vs the V8.

There have been 6cyl Camaros since Gen I, but they aren't for every owner just like every owner does not want a V8.

Just think if the LS9 was the only engine available. The race crowd would think it's great, but those that use their cars to commute would quickly find it a PITA.

I think both V6 Camaro's and V8 Camaro's each have their advantages and disadvantages. What can be said is that both versions are absolutely great and beautiful cars. V6 Camaro owners are going to love their V6 Camaro's... the same for V8 Camaro boys and girls... its just the Nature Of The Beast!

Yes, some will change their minds about their version... that's okay...

Hahaha... True! Because I never wanted a ZL1 ! I wanted the SS and everyone should be the same way . Get what makes you happy!I love all 5th Gens and had a V6 one too. But I always wanted the SS not anything else and I loved my 1LT/RS just as much.

Agree! Blessed and lucky to have a 5th Gen, the best looking car in the world , well with the 60's Camaro.

Agreed, it will be two years in April that I've had my Camaro V6. Love the car and have not once wished I would have gotten the V8.
