That's some pretty crazy numbers for just headers and pulleys. How much boost on that combo. Cam?

Can't wait to see those low 10 second time slips!

That's a pump gas tune right?

15lbs if boost. Yes, I am running a Rapid Motorsports custom spec cam. You did read that the heads and blower was ported too, right?

Hey Trackman, Yes, this tune is for 93 octane. I am definitely going to take it to the track. I only live a half an hour from Maple Grove Raceway. The car should definitely do that, but I am not going to say I can do that right away. I have not been down to the strip since 2009. There is a 6 speed blue F-body that is turbocharged. He is a member on LS1Tech. I saw some of his videos on youtube. I should have him run it. Is yours manuel or auto?

Hahaha, Hey Mike, it also is insane to drive. I will let you know when I am up that way, you can check the car out. There is more in the car too, but Mikey did not want to push it! First pull, it was at 751 rwhp. Are you going to go with the Dominator III cam? That makes crazy power!!

Yep, going to have him put in the Dominator III cam, unless he comes up with something else. Would appreciate getting a closer look at your car. Did you install headers or not?

Definitely.

Mike installed the headers. I would go with the Dominator III. That cam makes power!! Are you going to have your heads touched up or just leaving them stock?

Please let me know when you are going to the Grove to run this beast. I would love to see it and hear it in person.

Yeah, I saw that. You've got almost the exact same mods as I do except for a little larger lower pulley but putting down 130 more HP. Can't wait to see what it traps.

I'm fairly new to the ZL1, but if this platform is capable of making this much power on pump gas, with the listed mods, why I do not see many achieving similar results? Maybe I missed something, but I would be seriously interested if the builder/shop could post more info in here and offer something to all of us!

+1 must be magic. Lol. I ran more pulley only saw 13psi boost and needed 105 octane to make 750rwhp.with power claim like that your going to need trap of 135mph or better to back it up. Not trying to rain on your parade but MANY of us on here have built up our ZL1's. This is the first one that "made" that power on stock pump AND pump gas. Lol

The shop I deal with has their own R and D ZL1 and has tried several of the big name cams in it. While they all behaved differently they were all within 25 hp of one another. They came to the conclusion there was no magic cam. +1 on the builder tuner posting more info.
