Gauge locations

I'm putting on a supercharger and want to add 2 gauges. A couple of quick questions...

I see the A-pillar dual gauges pods. Looks great and ideally this is where I'd want them. However, I'm concerned about the reduced visibility. These Camaro's are already awful when it comes to visibility. Can anyone comment on how much the A-pillar pods reduce visibility?

Where else have others put 2 gauges other than the A-Pillar?

Doesnt bother me a bit. There is a company that makes a set of gauges that sits in the center of your dash, where the speaker goes, I personally think that is more obstructive than the A-pillar setup.

The only other place I think that is fit for a gauge is on top of the steering wheel. Phastek has a vendor that makes a mount for the column with a gauge insert.

Won't affect you view at all! Here is my setup! Aero Force gauges in A Pillar, AFR in vent opening. Really no affect on my view.

Thanks. That's good to know. So from the seated driving position in the car...the pods don't stick out? In other words...the guages line up directly with the A-pillar as the eyes see it when driving and not bumped out into the field of view outside the pillar?

If so, that's awesome.

What pillar is best for a 2010 2SS?

Subscribed, cc-rider, you chose my exact thoughts last night regarding visibility out of these cars, and ergonomics being paramount on gauge mount selection.

I'm installing just one gauge(AEM AFR), and on the fence where to install it.

I have two gauges on the pillar and one on the top of the steering column. The angle that you look at the pillar from the drivers seat will be no obstruction.

If you had just 1 gauge, and had to choose location, would it be on top of steering column or A-pillar?
