The ending of this saga (2010 Camaro SS, 275/40R20s on front, exact same problem):

Looks like Konis are roughly 5mm shorter, so the issue is absolutely with the shock, not the tires. Very disappointed in Koni at this time.

On the brightside, however, Rob@WretchedMS has helped me out a great deal with some coilovers I've ordered from him. Would recommend him to anyone.
