I got the PDF from your sales rep Jeff.
But i had some questions • Do you have a replacement section for no Cat’s? or do I have to make that? From the Down pipes to end of the factory cat section. My Cut outs connect to the factory location if they were there. Removed when headers where put in, and no I don’t have them anymore :-( • Also would the TT work OK if I open the cutouts? Or best to remove that? • The Black ceramic coating of downpipe assemblies and wastegate discharge pipes are an extra $675? I take it these are more than just looks. It should lower the heat a little correct? • Do you have any financing options? ( just checking my options) • I have a VIS carbon fiber hood. Do you think there would be too much heat for this type of hood? |

Hello. The downpipes bolt to the factory location, so any mid pipe designed for factory headers will work. A few companies make cat delete mid pipes meant for this purpose. Cutouts are definitely a difference maker in reducing backpressure. There is no problem using them on our kit. Yes, the ceramic coating is an option, for looks and for heat reduction. We send Heatshield products Lava wrap standard in the kit for heat protection, but if a black finish is desired, we offer that as well. You would use one or the other, but we do not recommend wrapping a coated pipe. We do not offer financing, but we accept all major credit cards and other standard forms of payment. We have not had any feedback with anyone with that particular hood, but with our standard heat protection provided in the kit, we do not see any issue. Thank you for your interest, and let us know if you have any other questions. Team Hellion |

Hey Guys,
Just wanted to provide some info pertaining to questions I had on this kit. I just ordered it on Friday and it should be at my door in 2-3 weeks (could be earlier). First off, Hellion's response rate is fantastic. Anytime I needed Jeff or John, they were there to take my call. Not so much on the emails but talking on the phone is better anyway right? Pick up the phone and give them a call whenever you need something. Very helpful. Here are my plans: 2014 Camaro SS 1/LE - Hellion Top Mount TT Tuner Kit (no ball bearing, no options) - I am going to get the downpipes ceramic coated on my own. Nothing against Hellion's coating, but to alleviate any risk during shipping (can't always trust UPS). - Catless Midpipes: John from Hellion suggested the JBA 1812SY catless midpipes as he knew for sure that they will work with the downpipes (this is what he used on the test car). - I contemplated going 3" catback (SW ZL1 retro-chambered of course). I decided to save the coin as John told me that there was not a 'worthy' difference in power going 3" as long as the exhaust in free flowing (hence the JBA catless). I have the NPP. - Supporting mods will be: KB BAP (i'd recommend the ZL1 fuel pump if you don't have a 1LE), Snow stg. 2 Meth, AEM Tru-boost, AEM UEGO Wideband, Diablosport Trinity T-1000. Hoping to break the 700RWHP number on the stock LS3. Still contemplating an FI cam. Hope this helps anyone thinking about this system. I cannot wait! Going to take my time in getting everything together though. Be patient if you can, do plenty of research on what exact supporting mods you want. You'll thank yourself later. Let me know if you have any questions. -Matt |
