I love having a clean record. The yearly insurance premiums on my 10 cars is likely less than many here who have only one ride.

And maybe the OP could also, you know, batch 'em up so he just has to spend one day in front of the Man instead of what was it...six?
I'm sure the courts will admire his collection of tickets once he finally gets his time in the court system.

OP you do know that those aren't raffle tickets or good for some prize once you finally walk into the court room.

I don't blame the OP for not returning. He asked for help and only got yelled at and made fun of. We've all gotten speeding tickets, so no one is perfect. He does have some lessons to learn, but maybe he does have some bad luck too...

Ask yourself this .. How many tickets would I have if I got pulled over EVERY time I broke a traffic law in my Camaro? Ever done a burnout? Ever gone over the speed limit? ..Ever rolled a lonely stop sign?... No one is innocent and no one is perfect. Some are just sneakier than others.

I cut him some slack because one thing stands out to me...He doesn't mention any DUIs. To me, that is the unforgivable driving sin.

Well... actually no, to all the above. Zippo. Zero. None.

He hasn't mentioned DUIs because he's a college student and probably isn't old enough to buy alcohol... give him time.

Ask yourself this... If you traveled roads that were heavily patrolled by LEOs would you repeatedly break the law, getting tickets in the same spot, for the same thing? Sure, we've all broken traffic laws. If you're going to "play", you need to be very selective in where you do it. OP wasn't even playing around - he was commuting on his regular routes, driving as he regularly drives. Only an idiot would allow this to happen to them.

Here is the best "help" I can offer OP: Be a man... go to court and take your medicine. Lawyer up if you can afford it but if any of this story is even true, you need to lose your driving privileges for a very long time and take public transportation or carpool with someone until you grow up.

No this is true, at least in the state of NM. I got a ticket in 2006 for my 98 SS being too loud. The cop never did a decibel reading and on top of that I was going under 20 mph when he pulled me over. I fought the ticket and on court day we were both there. It took a good 2+ hrs to get to my ticket. Luckily a case before mine I watch him leave, when I get called up the judge just tells me case dismissed! I've also had friends in NJ that have had that work for them as well.

I got a parking ticket in NY (the bronx) does the cop have to be there for that?

I think he is in jail for too many points on his license and unpaid tickets. He got caught at the same intersection in a rental doing 20mph over.
