2015 1LE Production Numbers - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys, anyone know if the 2015 production numbers have been released yet? So far the only info we have as to how many '15's there are is based on the zl1 registry which is obviously a small percentage of the cars built. So if anyone has the build numbers please post them up!

Thanks! Will '15 production complete the entire yearly cycle? Or will they shut down production early to tool up for '16 production?

Mid June is usually the end of the year, but camaro is going to be made in detroit, so no mo canada production

2015 Camaro production isn't over yet.

Some reports say it's over in mid September. Other reports say mid November.

My guess is it'll be somewhere within that time frame.
And we won't have any production numbers until some time AFTER production ends.

I believe they stopped taking orders in late June. Production is not over but All cars are accounted for so I think we will have the numbers sooner than later. I hope.

yea my dealer had told me in July I couldn't make an order because the 2016 were just in their infancy in aspect of production.
So I really don't know what to believe.
The 2016 supposedly are going to be arriving at the dealer in late November early December.

They stopped taking Customer Sold Orders (SRE) on June 25th.

Many dealers still had allocation for units for their regular stock.
And I'm sure GM keeps producing outside of the special orders and retail orders (probably for rental companies & such).

So I would say, no, all the cars are NOT accounted for at this time.

Well, your dealer's statement was a little misleading.
2015 orders weren't stopped because "the 2016 were just in their infancy in aspect of production". Orders were stopped because the end of 2015 production is approaching.
I'm not even sure '16s are in production yet. If they are, they're not saleable units.

Besides, the '16 is being built at a different plant than the '15. So it's not like they have to stop production of the '15 to retool the plant for the '16.

OP stated 1LE production totals. Doubtful any 1LE's will be built for Rental or fleet service.
