I bought a blade spoiler (z/28) a couple months ago and decide not to use it. I had it painted the same semi-flat black as the 1LE spoiler. PM me if you are interested.

I'm ordering the z/28 style spoiler since that what gm says I need to run te wickerbill. NOT the blade spoiler.

From GM Accessories webpage:

Spoiler Kit - High Wing

Personalize the look of your Camaro with a custom race-inspired Spoiler Kit, available in several body colors. The High-Wing Spoiler should only be installed on Camaro Coupe models that do not have a factory Spoiler. The mounting holes for the High-Wing Spoiler are completely different than the factory spoiler. Contact your Chevrolet dealership for more information.

Edit: of course this is a load of shit because I installed my "high wing blade spoiler, Z/28 style" into the factory holes for my SS/1LE

Really what I think GM did was take the blade design from the 12-13 zl1 and put it on the 14-15 ss, 1le and zl1.
The SS spoiler is different than the ZL1/1LE spoiler for MY '14-'15, the SS spoiler is flatter.

That may be true as I've never physically compared them.

Finally got mine delivered. My trunk did have a small chip as well but luckily the spoiler covered it up.

Is this the GM spoiler or the Ebay one. I want the Z/28 spoiler with the adjustable Wicker. Anyone have the part number for the Spoiler and the Wicker?

Yes, it's the GM Z/28 spoiler (aka high wing-blade spoiler) the Wickerbill spoiler kit is sold separately, bottom of spoiler page. http://www.shopchevyparts.com/camaro...2770_3060.html

Can anyone that has removed the factory spoiler confirm that there are only the four bolts? When I was removing mine it was held down pretty tight in the center - I assume that is just adhesive of some type? Car is a 2015 1LE.

Thanks!

The factory spoiler has (6) I believe (bear with me it was a while ago that i changed mine.), 2 next to each other on the driver and passenger side under the rubber grommets, and 2 in the middle behind the carpeted insert on the trunk-lid.

The Z 28 only uses (4) 2 inside, one on each driver and passenger side.

I can confirm this. (6) on the OEM 1LE spoiler and (4) on the Z/28 EBAY spoiler (not sure about the OEM Z/28). Either way, the gasketing that comes with the spoiler will keep the water out no problem.

I also had the rub marks. I was really dissapointed when I first saw it, but since I've installed the spoiler, the bad-ass look of the Z/28 has made me completely forget about the marks.

Thanks for the info! I was able to remove the 6 nuts and the spoiler came right off.
