Anybody have any trouble with it rattling inside the bumper? I've got one on my SS and seems to be rather noisy? Installation issue, or is this something that's relatively common and there's a quick fix that I'm not finding? I tried putting a piece of foam between the bumper and the front of the scoop as it seems to be bumping it (if you tap on the front of the bumper, you can hear it), but that didn't help. The rattle seems to be farther back somewhere.

That is not something I have encountered before. If everything is tightened down there shouldn't be anything that can rattle. Is is an irregular rattle or more of a vibration?

Two years with CAI, scoop, and bottle kit. No such (or any other) problems.

I little of both. There is a vibration rattle, even at idle, but that's fairly quiet except right at first on a cold start. Driving down city streets at 25-30, though, it's more of a rattle that goes along with the bumps in the road. I bought the car with it already installed, so I don't have much in the way of details on the installation. Might have to just take wheel well off and check the fit.

Yeah, I would definitely pull it of an check it out. It sounds like something is loose.

Does the relocation kit move the washer bottle outside of the CAI box?

Yes, it actually eliminates the huge stock tank and replaces it with a tank that is attached to the side of the scoop.

Some additional info and pictures for anyone interested.
Here's the thread of my install of the intake, air scoop, and washer bottle.
The PDF's are basically a how-to with lots of pictures and explanations.
There's even a template for a custom bracket I designed for the remote filler neck. (I didn't want to drill into the intake.)
Granted, I have a V6, but I'm sure the installation/fit is very similar, if not identical for an SS.

[The thread and videos also cover my exhaust install, which is unrelated.]
