There are two Oklahoma threads where people are wondering about meetings. Guess what - It's not going to happen until YOU set it up:

1 Think of a nice little fast food place or diner that isn't too busy and has a big, open parking lot. (A good location also has lots of windows so you can watch over your cars if you want to go inside, cool off and have a burger or drink.)

2 Make a new topic: "Oklahoma City Meeting - 6pm, Saturday Sept 12, 2009 @ Location of Event." Provide whatever details that would help people find your event - directions, map…

3 That's it! It's really THAT easy!

:( Don't try to decide by committee and don't start voting for the location / time / place or you will have 20 people each trying to change it to match his own schedule and no meeting will ever happen!

Someone - just pick a time and place. Whoever can attend, will attend. If they can't make it this month, maybe they can next month.

Whoever posts the message should just plan on hanging out for about an hour "alone" - just you and your spouse or buddy . If someone else shows, GREAT! Have fun! If nobody else shows up, enjoy your burger or coffee and try again next month!
