I'm not sure when mine is coming in. It says it left the rail yard on the 19th!? I love the picture of you next to your car and your looking down at it. Sweet ride. I thought all ssrs came with leather? Faculty meeting? I take it your a teacher? Hope the kids like you. LOL[/QUOTE]

I was probably there around 1:30 or so? Mine arrived at the rail yard on the 15th and got to O'neils on 21st, so you should be there soon. The 1SS has cloth, 2SS leather. I have never really liked leather and this cloth on this car looked pretty nice. I'm a part time adjunct at Manchester Community College, so no kids for me, but we have our back to school meeting Monday night. Hope yours get there soon.

Yeah thats a good idea. Wish I would have thought to take the front bracket out of the truck. I saw it written on the work order so it should be all set, but that would have definetly taken care of it. I have to call the sales manager monday morning to set up a time for Tuesday, so I will tell him again then.

We must have JUST missed each other because I was there around 1 or 1:15 or so. I must have stayed for at least 15 mins. talking to my sales guy. You said Jim was there? They had told me he was on vacation earlier in the week. If I had known he was there I would have gone in and seen him. I thought yours was a 2ss because you had the red SS but I guess that just means you have the RS package. Don't forget to check the spoiler for loose bolts and the undercarriage for damage, especially the undercarriage before you drive it off the lot. There was a story posted about that. The guy took it home some how found the damage, went back to the dealer and they said sorry!

Yeah we must have. No Jim wasn't there but I spoke to him last week when Fred wasn't there about the front plate. He is back on Monday. Yeah I got the 1SS with the RS package. I didn't want leather so the extra money for the 2SS wasn't worth it to me, although I may order some of the 2SS parts (gauges and PDIM) at some point after I get my stripes, tint, and exhaust put on. I saw the post for the spoiler-definetly will check that. I didn't see the post about the undercarriage though! what was damaged?

One of the exhaust pipes was bent. Maybe ask them to put it on the lift. I'm going to ask hopefully they understand. I'm also going to ask them NOT to put there Oneills logo on it either. If they do I'm going to pull it off when I get home.

Oh wow. Good to know. I'll def keep that in mind. I also asked them not to put any stickers or logos on the car. I did tell them that they could put an O'neils rear liscense plate frame on if they wanted too.

I went to Carter Chev too. I completed the order and then they said they wanted $2500.00 down and I said no thanks. I then went to Richard Chev in Cheshire and ordered my Camaro. The next day the owner of Carter called me and said they would do me a favor and order my car @ $1000.00 down. Some of these dealers are nuts. It took 4 dealers before I found Richard- There the best.

I'm up early every morning as I have 2 huge Golden Retrivers that start barking to go out at about 4-5:00 am every day. Let them out for 5 minutes and then go back to bed. Today I went online for a while. LOL.
I hate to tell you, mine took longer to go from the railyard than anything else.
I was out today but I'm just reading this PM so I didn't drive by O'neill. Sorry.

I know you guys like O'neill but I couldn't trust them. They kept calling me and saying they could order a Summit white Camaro before it was available. They all seem like nice guys to work with but I ended up argueing about the start up date for summit white.
I first went to Davidson, then O'neill, Then Thomaston, than Carter. Four dealers before I felt comfortable at Richard Chev in Cheshire. They have been great from day one.
PS: Don't ask O'neill not to put a sticker on your car- tell them not to.

Joe - don't know if youre still looking for financing, but I got mine from Pentagon Federal Credit Union. They offer 3.99 for 60 months or less and 4.75 for 72 months. I was approved within a few hours and they mailed out my check that day - got it 2 days later

Yeah I can't comment on the Summit White thing. I went to 3 dealers beofre O'neils - Carter, Gengras, and Balise in Springfield, MA before O'Neils. They were good to work with while I was ordering and willing to work with me on my trade too. They are taking my car as a trade then selling it to my father in law for the same price so he can sell it on his lot for me. I think it depends who you talk to O'Neils too. The day I went to place the order my sales guy Fred wasn't there and I started my order with another guy (can't remember his name) but he know nothing about the camaro. Ended up asking if he could get the sales manager to finish my order to make sure it was right. To each his own I guess right!

I will tell them no stickers. Can't complain at all about Oneills they have totally been up front with me from the beginning. Dre, I did check into Pen Fed I also checked (on line) with a local bank. The local bank is at 4.99 so I'm going to see if they will equal the 3.99, if not I'm going to go with Pen as well. I will do all that tomorrow as I'm guessing my car will be in this week. That way I can have everything ready to go asap. Been waiting long enough! Not really though, LOL some poor saps have been waiting almost a year.

Nice. Good luck with them matching it for you. I have to call my insurance company and give them the pick-up date so they can transfer my insurance over for Tuesday when I pick her up!
