What did you use to black out the chrome strip?

Thanks for the feedback. I know I need to throw the bowtie back on there, but does anyone know if I can do it WITHOUT having to pull the entire front end off?

Looks great. Needs the Flowtie though! Glad you posted this, I'm in the same boat. (14 SS/RS).
Tell me about the chrome strip. Is it in three sections from the factory or was your cut so it could remain above the headlights?

Looks great. Way better than having that ugly chrome strip at the top the grill. (Which is my #1 pet peeve with the refresh.)

I kind of like it. Matches the chrome letters on the side of the car, my 2010 chicklets, my polished exhaust tips & LED tailight chrome strips.

Gives my car a red/black/chrome accent theme.

I like it. I didn't at first but after looking at the pictures for a few seconds it quickly grew on me. I don't know that I would put an emblem on it if it were me.

I can't give you an honest opinion with the car hidden in the garage. Pull it out and take some pics so we can see how the grill flows with the entire car.

OP

It looks amazing. A flowtie would def. complete it. I have a summit white and am going to try it with the chrome strip because I want the chrome flow tie. I'm glad to see someone kept the strip above because I see majority of people take off the chrome strip and don't even bother trying to paint it black. But it looks sick in black.
