Planning on ordering mine this month.
Has anyone with a V6 tried this in sport mode?

AFM disable issue!

I installed the disable devise last week and today I drove the car over to my sister's house for easter dinner. When I left and drove off the transmission didn't feel like it was starting off in 1st gear. I drove for sometime before I realized that the car was not shifting at all. It seemed to be stuck in one gear and the check engine light was on. At 50 mph the tachometer was reading near 3k rpm. I pulled the car over put it in park and shut it off and started it up again. Still the same problem. I pulled over to a side street and stopped the car put it in park and shut the engine off. Pulled the key out of the ignition, unplugged the device for a minute then plugged it back in and started the car and the check engine light cleared after about 10 seconds or so and the transmission shifted normally again. I just got this car about 3 weeks ago. I hope I didn't hurt the transmission! Supposed to be the latest software ver 7 bought it directly from Ranger Tech.

She says it like going from a 4 cylinder to a V8.
SP5 is farthest up the scale she would use.. while i was with her..

i see a new set of rear tires in the not to distant future..lol

I was in D and at a light the car when into 3rd (without warning) and whould not shift out and sat at around 3k rpms. I finally got it to shift but putting into M and using the tap shifters.

Are you talking about it happening after installing a Vitesse Throttle controller or just about the range device?
If it's a Range device problem you may have better luck posting this in a thread about it instead of about the Vitesse.

His post reads like it's talking about the Range AFM disable device. Since he called it a disable device and at the end said Range Tech.

He is assuming because this is the LFX section, even though the poster shows he has an SS...

It was the range device. Sorry. I guess I didn't realize I was posting in the wrong thead. Just for your information. Range Technology was very interested in my case and are sending me another device and want to monitor my car.

Just installed mine, and it is amazing.

I recently also right after, needed to get my TPMS reset because I changed my wheels, and they indicated that the sensors are not registering...would the VTC controller hinder the ability of the cars computer from finding and setting the TPMS? Or maybe bad TPMS?
