Btw the injector noise your asking about is common in these motors. Its generally quieter at idle and it more prominent under harder acceleration. Its a rapid tick/wsssp noise under acc.

Alright. I'm hearing more of an whine with acceleration. I don't have a CAI. I'll figure it out

Jcashen has the 2013 V6 (LFX) and he had the same issue I did.. Seems to be a V6 problem not just an LLT issue. I'm guessing its caused by a poor oil galley design or defective bearings from the factory.

I'm gonna fight for a new motor and not a repair. With the amount of miles and the possible contamination to the rest of the motor theres no way they're gonna be able to make the car perform like it should.

The dealer initially thought it was an exhaust leak. I knew it was something more than that and pushed them to drop the oil pan to look.

Finally got the car back last night. She runs 1000x better than when I bought her before the rod bearing failure. Makes me think there was something wrong when I got her. This 5 week nightmare is over.
