May I ask what product you use on the dash to clean it . When I had my top replaced the car upholstery guy told me to never use ArmorAll on any interior trim because it will dry it out and cause it to crack. He said ArmorAll has given him a lot of business.

Well good news took the car to the dealer and it was going to be about 1200 bucks to fix after labor parts and taxes, the service adviser did some work and got it down to 300 plus taxes due to low mileage, known issue, and brand loyalty. Couldn't be happier and he also stated that it was in the area of the airbag so that was a huge help.

Get ready for your car to look like mine when they replace the dash. I had mine pulled by Lupe to do the HUD unit install.

Wow this sucks. I'm noticing these are all mostly 2010's. Maybe they changed the resin. Seems like it's lacking an impact modifier. Jeez I hope they wouldn't cheap out on adding this???

Guy at dealership said they didnt improve the replacement parts but apparently it's a known issue because he had a dash on hand

That sucks. So basically, I can expect mine to crack.

They should've stuck to the LS1 design. Where, when it cracked, you could pop it out and replace it.
