There are multiple camber settings available. If your doing a lot of high speed/hard cornering, the negative camber allows your tires to track with more of the foot print on the ground. It actually saves the outside edges from becoming ground rubber on the road/track.
Jferrell, this was supposed to be a response for you. |

Not really. It will feel a little different in how it handles. I will say if one is NOT driving hard cornering, at more then 1.5 degree's negative camber COULD have an adverse wear condition to the inner tire edges.
Yes the negative camber is mostly for hard cornering and the tire relation to the road while doing it. |

Also, some people that are just slamming their cars need/have to go negative on the camber setting just to clear the struts/fenders. It has nothing to do for them with performance.

Your car looks great. Which kit did you install? On Pedders website they have several different ones available.

These are the Pedders xa extreme adjustable coilovers. I am not planning on taking it to the track to often for auto crossing events but she will see some time at Englishtown on the drag strip. I did the suspension for some "spirited" street driving and also the look. I used air tools to for the installation but you could do it with out them.
I want to reduce the negative camber up front and maybe even set it closer to what the rear is at now. CGM2SSRS you seem to know alot about setting up suspension. The stock camber is -.75 front and rear what would you suggest for hard street driving that won't destroy my tires to quickly? After more "spirited" driving the car feels very stable in high speed turns and gives you much more confidence when turning and braking. With the old setup the car would almost feel like its floating on some fast turns and would force me to slow down. Today I hit the same turns and was able to go much faster, in fact I felt I couldn't safely find the new limits of the car. I currently have the dampeners at 12 clicks up front and 9 clicks rear. This is what Pedders recommends for "General Street Play" . At these settings the ride is not harsh at all, I might turn up the settings to their "Aggressive Street" settings to see what she feels like. I'll keep everybody posted!

Is it possible to get the car a bit higher? If so how much?
