Tire life question
I have a 2013 1LE with the original Goodyear F1s. Just turned 15k miles. Measured the tread today and have 5/32+ on rear on close to 6/32 on front. Wife gets nervous because when I get on it in a corner it gets a little squirelly and nannies kick in. I told her that I have a little more life in tires. She thinks I should change now. I have a set in basement with only 500 miles from a member here. Can I push these tires a little further?? Thanks in advance for any opinions.

they are only 8/32 new. You're still have over half tread on the back. I'm 4500 miles with 6/32 front and 4/32 rear.

You're still fine in the dry. In the wet I would recommend taking it easy. These are not the best wet tires to begin with and get worse as the tread depth gets lower. Any tire needs tread depth to evacuate water. As tires get down to about 4/32nds hydroplaning performances starts to drop off very quickly.
