Going To Be A Long Week
So I just dropped my car off at the shop this morning for a few upgrades here and there. Getting her some new shoes, a set of twinsies and the HOA special (aka Magnaflow 3" Comp cat back). Said they were going to start on it today after lunch and they're going to call me Friday afternoon to see where we stand but expect it to go on the dyno Monday. Needless to say, the next six days are going to drag on for sure and my wife is already tired of hearing me talk about the car
Here are a few teaser pics that I snapped today before I got dragged out of the shop to go back to work. Can't. Friggin. Wait. Will be my first forced induction car.

Nice garage. I got a Jeep that I'm throwing money into now, a Ducati, and a vette.

I just went with the base 54/57 turbos AGP offers. Got the ZL1 pump, MSD BAP and ID850's to go along with it. I don't ever see myself going over 750hp to the wheels and AGP rates these turbos at 800hp so I figured I'd be good with it.

Only 5 days 23 1/2 hours left! Haha.
Mine goes in for the twins May 2. Pick her up May 9. Not looking forward to the wait and the lady isn't pumped about driving me to work for a week either! What a trooper she is. Like you, I can't wait. Definitely be sure to post some vids. Not sure I've heard the comp series on the AGP kit yet. |

I'll definitely post some videos of the dyno session, idle/sound clips, and some videos of romping around having fun with her. I haven't heard the comp series with this kit either which is part of the reason I wanted to go with that combo so I'm definitely interested to see how it sounds. Especially considering the HOA in my subdivision, cranking it up in my garage at 5am to go to work.... Someone's gonna get pissed lol.

My Jeep is at a shop next to AGP right now getting ARBs front and rear. My new tires showed up yesterday. Still waiting on the lift. Got a stock 2004 LJ 3 weeks ago and just doing the basics. It is fun.

Thank you sir, you have a very nice car btw Very clean and tasteful Btw, I'm trying to figure out what HP and TQ numbers I should be expecting from the car. I've heard quite frequently that it's commonplace for these cars to make 600 pretty easy just bolting the kit on the car. The guy I've been dealing with at the shop said he's shooting for 600-650 but in the end, it makes what it makes, he's more worried about a proper tune rather than the car making a certain, pre-determined goal number. I agree with him there. I'm just trying to figure out what to realistically expect from it considering it's basically just going to have AGP's base kit but with all the fuel upgrades and larger intercooler and then a maganflow 3" comp series cat back.

Less than 18 hours away now Scheduled to be there at 1pm tomorrow and I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. Only thing that hasn't been shipped to the shop yet are my new front tires, I ordered a set of Welds with M&H skinny fronts and fat rears.... Wheels and rear tires are in but the skinnies are not :-/
So after I get the car back tomorrow, I'll obviously post up pics, videos, the dyno sheet, all that good stuff. Anyone wanna start making guess just for shits and giggles on how much HP and TQ the car will make? I'm going to throw out there, 635hp and 630 tq. Let's see who gets it the closest (dynojet dyno btw).
