So I ordered the VTC from Apex last week and installed it today. I used Velcro and mounted it in the arm rest compartment. I had to drill through the plastic wall so I used a grommet to clean up the appearance of the hole.

I hit the block after programming it and dear sweet lord. This baby bucks like a bull at SP9. I know everybody loves it, but this damn car feels like a V8 now. Adding the lower rear end last year really helped with low end pull, and the VTC complements it like crazy. I haven't even hit wot yet, but I'm sure my tires'll burn at a hard launch. Man, it's been a good day.

Anybody else with a gear swap install a VTC?

yes, i normally drive with it set at 8, however if its bad weather i back it down to 5 or 6 as the car gets squirly

I'm about to run out to an abandoned lot today. From a stop, do you know what the highest setting you can use to launch without any wheelspin?

will vary on the pavement surface, just as sometimes i chirp second and sometimes not. Also, tires and gearing will play a role. Are u driving an automatic?

I haven't hit a hard launch with my nannies off yet (will wait til dragstrip day), but I only get a little spin on SP9. My rear wheels are 20X10.5 and the tire height is about a half inch shorter than stock. I'm pretty hopeful that I can get a vicious launch at the strip in SP7-8. And yes I'm an auto. Have you done any drag strip testing yet?

Havent been to the track since last season. I hope to get there very very soon. I am hoping to drop into the low 12's with the mods i made since last season. Ran 12.8 last year on street tires.

True but it's clearly not a gear swapped V6. Sounds great though.
