What offset did you go with for the fonts? R7 is also out at this size, and I'm seriously considering : )

Ok I know this a old thread but I was wondering if I could get some info. I am looking to go with 315's all of the way around for autocross also. Do you know if it is possible to do with 18"? And what are your offsets front and rear? Thank you

Get in touch with Pete at JPSS. He's on this forum (usually in the Suspension section). I just ordered GA3R rims through him. With the offset I will be running 305's. He's saying we could do 315's also. They should arrive in a couple of weeks and I'll post pics when I get them on the car.

Keep in mind that running 315 in any diameter will mean the front sticks out more than an inch outside the fenders. That's why the Z28 has the front fender flares. I purchased my GA3Rs directly from Forgeline, contact David Schardt and he will be able to help you with the offsets. A word of caution if you go with 11" wide front wheels. You will have fitment issues with the strut if you do not do it right. |

The rear offset is a no-brainer at +44/+45.
The front offset is what you have to be careful of when considering clearance issues. I have the Pfadt coilovers and chose +17mm offset in the front. Even with such a shallow offset in the front, I went with shorter race springs to move the perches up and away from the tire. The other benefit of such a shallow front offset is that it pushes the front tires outward thus widening the front track and creating a more balanced setup. |
