I had DOT4 done at the dealer. It's a must do.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Yep. Gonna get it done next Tuesday. They don't carry the DOT4 at the dealer so they have to order it. Got my appt set up so I'll be good to go for the track.

Because they are MORONS. Their excuse? "It's Texas law to have a front plate." My response? "You let the buyer decide if they want to take that chance or not. Don't go drilling into a brand new vehicles bumper when there are other ways to display the plate w/out damaging the vehicle itself." Yeah...it pissed me off but the plate holder was already drilled into the car when I found it at the dealer. Nothing I could have done about it.

Cost me $200 to take it off, but I got a lot of tiny rock chips repainted. SO....it worked out for the better.

DOT 4 ATE 400 brake fluid added at the dealer last Tuesday.

JDP tow hook installed today. Took about 2.5 hours. I had forgotten how to do the facia removal. With a little help from the DIY threads and a little guess work, I was able to get the facia off. Putting it back on was freaking super fast. I could take it back off again in 15 min now.

Sorry just saw this. I used what the dealer had in DOT4. They would not use the Motul even if I brought it to them. Had to be theirs for some reason. But when others had fading brakes I never had a single issue.

Sat in my garage for a couple weeks now. Didn't want to mess with having to take off the facia. Found I had a little time, said screw it, found it was taking more time than I wanted but I was too far in to turn around....lol....and before I knew it, had it done. Seriously, I totally eyeballed where to mount it. Couldn't believe I got it on the 1st try....

Damn has it been too long since I've posted in my build thread....

Oh well...

New RRM engine cover put on yesterday and I just removed the front facia and installed the new lower valance today. Damnit if I jacked that one up when pulling onto Roberts trailer....UGH.... Oh well, Maureen from Rodgers came through for me on that one. Had it packed up and shipped within a couple days from being back from the Fest. Pretty damn fast.

Thank you, Maureen!!! You guys rock! Pix to follow

Oh....and for my records, got my upper drivers recaro seat cover replaced due to the seat belt strap ripping the cover. Also got the nav screen replaced since it was not calibrated right and kept getting screwed up.
