Exactly, e85 takes 25-30% more fuel. So if it that dual pump can make 800rwhp maxed out, ~600rwhp on e85 is going to max it out.

Don't use ID1000's for E85. If you are buying anyways, get the 1300's. They are the only ID's that are all stainless and good for E85.

I'm good with that. . I'm at 650 now.. after i sell my 850s I'll have 1300.00 in it for 50 to 100 more hp..

Thats as cheap as nos and meth.. with out the need of refilling tanks. E85 is 1.50 93 is 2.80 that's lt makes since the price of cheaper fuel out weights 30% more consumption and Hassel of refilling a washer fluid bottler or nos tank.

I'll probably use FIC 1000s

Refilling a washer bottle is nothing. Top off once a month. Takes 30 seconds.

Whats involved in tuning with a flex fuel sensor? Do you tune it for 93 then drain and tune for E85 then the computer takes over?

A flex fuel table already exists in the stock Camaro Computer. It needs to be turned on and tuned to E85. The controller will the adjust for the percentage of fuel to Ethanol.

It is? Where do you connect the sensor? Possible to do this in HP Tuner?

Yes, HP Tuners will support this.

Dave Steck's / DSX tuning, controller gets installed in line, and he has an instruction sheet for wiring the controller into the ECM connector.

We also used a Squash dual pump system.

Here is a NicKey Stage II ZL1 first tuned on 91 Octane with no Ethanol and then with E85 (Winter Blend).

I'm putting a new motor in my car so it's not tuned yet. So would I need to tune it for the 93 first then the e85? I plan on using e85 all the time but want the insurance of the sensor in case I get bad e85.

That is what we did. Made certain that it was tuned properly on gas first and then E85.
