I'm sorry, but I see WAY more sense of entitlement in the Camaro driver than the pickup truck driver. Just because he's in a Camaro (or any fast car) doesn't make the highway his own personal Nurburgring.

B) This ticks off the pick up driver, so he stays next to trucker," I'll show you". C) Camaro makes the worst possible choice and causes wreck. If camaro driver doesn't do A, pickup driver doesn't do B, and C never happens. I can't really blame the pickup driver. If I see someone coming up that wants to speed ahead, I will typically let them around, and use them as my radar detector. But if they choose to tailgate me for a mile, they going to get sunburned from my brake lights. I can't stand that cr#p. |

Guy in truck was an azzhat, clearly no one in front of him at time of crash and like some others posted, who knows how long he had been doing that? Camaro driver was an azzhat for passing on the shoulder, actually might have made it had he just used the shoulder but he put one side in the median grass which was even more stupid.

Way to go about ruining Camaro owners' names.

Is anyone surprised by this? I would be, if it was in Europe, as in Europe they actually make people learn how to drive before giving them a license... but not in America. As long as you have a slight idea of what the Gas, Break, and Steering Wheel do... here's your license and off you go!
I see horrible driving like this everyday... on city streets, on the highways, everywhere. There is no teaching or enforcing of driving laws anymore. My city, that needs revenue badly, could make a fortune if they would put their police on traffic duty.

Same form as a Pedestrian is jaywalking and hit by a car driving recklessly. Pedestrian contributed to the accident just like the pickup driver did. If the pickup-truck didn't do what they did no accident would have occurred same as the pedestrian in my example. Heck I would have closed ranks myself and kept from being cut-off, then I would have passed the semi when I could and moved over and let the asshat go on his way... Roadrage takes two to tango. |

We also do not have a right to tailgate, or antagonize these drivers either way. Sure, life would have been much easier if the guy would've just got ahead of the truck and moved over, I agree. Was he a jerk for blocking the Camaro driver, eh, maybe. However, I don't really blame him, the Camaro driver was riding is a## the whole time, what do you expect? If the Camaro driver takes it easy, the pick up driver moves up and over like he was probably going to do anyway, and everyone drives on to happy destiny or speeding ticket, whichever. |

Regardless, all of that went out the window when the Camaro driver decided to use the grass median as a passing lane. At that very moment complete liability fell upon him like the volcanic ash of Pompea. |

After looking at this a few more times guys I'm sorry, the pickup driver should be arrested and or heavily fined. He was clearly antagonizing the situation, the trucker needs a harsh ass chewing as well. The camaro driver deserves a ticket (as someone else stated). The pickup was obviously playing police and got what he asked for.

I like how all the finger pointing towards the pickup driver completely ignores how the Camaro literally ran him off the road to start the whole thing. Ran him off the road.
Camaro driver is 100% at fault, and not only should have to pay all insurance claims, but should also have his/her license revoked as well as being jailed for reckless driving and reckless endangerment with a deadly vehicle. First, that person forces the pickup off the road, and then attempts to pass on the median, clipping a car when merging back in. Impressively dangerous and stupid.

![]() Also lol at blaming the semi driver. Lots of experts on big trucks around here. You guys do know those things are almost all speed governed, right? Typically to 60-65 depending on the carrier? I doubt he was sandbagging just to box in somebody he probably didn't even see. Quote:
