You're welcome!!! Glad to hear you bought from Lundquist. Word of mouth means everything and I'm happy they verified my claim of a great dealer to buy from.

10 miles outside Loop 1604 on Hwy 90 West. You'll see the dealership on your right just before getting to Castroville. It's a real nice country drive, too!

Oh yeah, I ordered the 2SS RS package. Popular car, but still no markup from Lundquist.

I also ordered my Camaro from Lundquist this past Friday afternoon. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and the whole process took no more then 30 minutes. Virginia was the girl who helped me out. She was very friendly and patient with everything. I was very suprised how easy it was. Never thought I'd be able to order one this soon at MSRP!

i also believe now is the perfect time to support the small town dealers who are doing the right thing and putting customers first at a time like this. we are in a shitty economy, yet big dealers are still doing everything to try and rip us off. it really rubs me the wrong way.

no offense to the person who payed $500 over sticker at freedom, but you bought an LT. they wanted 10K for a red 1SS automatic they had in the showroom when i was there. i told the salesguy they were crazy and good luck selling it. they don't want customers like me who actually really care about the car, they want idiots who'll take it in the ass all day long and just want a "cool" car they saw on transformers.

arlight, /end rant.
I switched over to Lundquist since Gunn took so long. I know they dont get alot of Camaros in but if more people go with them they will! So go by and ask for Virginia Church tell her Mauricio sent you!

I'll add to this only to verify what others have said about Ancira...AVOID! I went in to look at a 2SS they had on the showroom and they had just gotten 5 2LTs from auction. Everyone of them were marked up at least $5K plus another $2K for the exterior and interior treatment add on. At first they wouldn't even talk negotiation even though I had $15K in cash and a guarantee from USAA for the rest. I walked out and never looked back even though they called me a couple weeks later to tell me they'd be open to some discussion. Sorry, I'll take my business (current and future) elsewhere...and I did. Purchased a 2SS off the lot in Atlanta for MSRP. I have no problem paying a fair price but I won't pay more. And if they can find someone who will, then bless the both of em!

Gunn has a guy order and literally from order to delivery it took 5 weeks! No joke. Now that didn't happen to me unfortunately and the results are typical...but crap man...that's fast!

No hassles there either. I've got a question for those that have purchased their cars already though (not to thread jack) but this might be relevant to the idea of where to buy...

What separate charges did you receive on top of the msrp? Obviously tax, title, license, doc fee, but what else are dealers charging? Are they using the "inventory tax" and things like "dealer prep fee"?
