frustrated
ok, so I had a PO449 code. Replaced the Evap canister purge solenoid. A week later I get the Message "tighten gas cap" and CEL.
Replaced the cap and the CEL is still on. Today I had onstar do a diagnostic check. They tell me I have two codes. One for the loose gas cap the second for my ABS. I figure the code hasn't cleared after replacing the cap, no biggie. The ABS puzzles me because there is no dash indicator on for my ABS. This car is just one CEL after another. What good is remote start if I can't use it. GRRRRRRR Tom |

The P0449 is for the Vent solenoid not the purge. Maybe that's what you meant?
As far as the ABS, what was the code? |

onstar didn't give me a code for the ABS.
