8 & 9 year old human garbage likely totaled my car

Hoping to have some facts today.

From discussions with my bodyshop, he's guessing about $8,000 just to paint the car. This doesn't include body work, glass replacement, wheel damage, lights, trim, etc.

Still hopeful for a total.

Still no full police report - investigation ongoing? I'm also guessing that the lack of a final report is stopping the insurance company too.

Going to be a long weekend. Guess I'll move the wounded Camaro outside and move the freaking hamster Fiat into the garage.

As an aside, my mower has larger pistons than the Fiat and my hair dryer has a bigger fan than the turbo in the Fiat.

Dmaxcc6spd, Like someone else said try and look into diminished value. It will defiantly take a beating on a trade if they pull a car fax and see its history.

Agreed. Then why keep tippy-toeing around the issue? People need to lay it on the line and preach to these folks. "Look, this is unacceptable and destructive behavior. We need to establish strong, traditional family values and stop diverting blame. Always looking for a scapegoat solves nothing!".
