So because others say its a fact, it's a fact?

Pattern and stigma..... yet the Jets ball games for this year were 16 psi as tested. The text messages the Wells report relies on as FACT confirms this. So the Jets are not cheaters? That's glaring evidence, if you accept everything as whole.

Easier to say Pats win on sidestep of rules rather than the have the best QB of all time and promote team play more so than any team in the league. Suh gets 22 million and Ninko gets 4. But who changes games more?

I was going to agree with you till that best QB of all time bs... you guys need to get off that myth. Brady is good but he is a product of his system. Any other team and he would have been out of the league inside of 5 years. I mean Cassel went 11 and 5 in Brady's absence...

The stigma is a result of the perception that they have built.

I'm not gonna keep up with the argument we have several threads on this very subject about the shadiness.

Also don't look for me to stick up for the Damn Jets... I'm a long time AFC East guy and I know who I'm not supposed to like... lmao

Look I am not going to argue with you all night. Joe Montana was not at the benefit of the West Coast Offense roll out system? Cassel went 11-5 in New England then was a disaster everyplace he went. Are you Ted Wells? Seems your extrapolations go in the same direction. I think Cassel did not underinflate his balls by 1 psi and that why he sucked.

It's simple Kelly, Elway, Marino, Peyton just some examples of QB'S that would be great anywhere.

Peyton went down and his team is horrible.

Brady goes down they still get 11 wins with Cassel who you point out was a disaster outside of NE'S system.

I'm not Ted Wells but I can see something so obvious and come to a conclusion.

This will be an argument forever about Brady and it will never be settled because Brady will retire a Patriot.

Do I think most teams skirt the rules a little bit? Absolutely, do I think the Patriots under Belichick do it a little bit more? You bet.

You Pat fans always get so fired up about this stuff though... lol

A second grader could read between the lines on those text messages to see what was going on. The only reason the report says "more probable than not" instead of definitely is because the text messages were not explicit in their implication, but that doesn't change what we all know as being true - Patriots employees knowingly were breaking rules regarding ball pressure and Brady was a part of it. Whether it had a material effect on the game is irrelevant - rules are in place for a reason.

If another team, like the Jets or whoever, also skirted those rules, then lay down the hammer on them as well.

You know what is really funny about this? Most of the Patriots fans here gave me crap about the whole PEDHawks issue a couple of years ago. Here's the thing...I never complained, or blamed the league or some imaginary plot against my team. I accepted that certain players did it on our team (as well as many teams on the league), they got fined/suspended...and that was that.

Here, we have every Patriot fan here saying idiotic things like "haters gonna hate", and just plain not taking responsibility for their star QB cheating. Brady is guilty as hell here, and we know it (and they know it). But instead of taking responsibility for it, they've been in denial since deflategate first appeared. "Everybody else does it", "it couldn't have affected anything"...pretty much every excuse in the book.

Ya'll need to own your teams mistakes as well as their successes. And Brady made a HUGE mistake by trying to skirt the rules. This wasn't some random accident. They essentially deflated balls AFTER they were checked by officials. And yes, there's something wrong with that.

It's not a stretch to see Brady suspended 3-6 games this season because of this, and that's why Vegas betting on the AFC has been suspended until they announce the punishment...which could be in a day or two.

Ray Rice got 2 games for damn near killing his wife, and you think Tommy is going to get 4-6 games for being accused with no evidence?

bingo

1 psi, give me a break. just shows how desperate people are to hate.

2 games, and fired from his job essentially. I'm not sure any team will re-hire him either.

And yes, when you mess with the integrity of the game, suspensions are generally pretty hefty. The Patriots lost a first round draft pick the last time they did something like that.

And, using another example...Hernandez got life in prison with "no evidence"...all of the evidence was circumstantial. Patriots fans certainly seem to have the ostrich effect going on here...heads in the sand, nothing can be wrong.
