What type of engine oil do you use?
Title says it all. Which brand and type of engine oil does everyone use in their 1LE? Why have you chosen that brand over others?

Mobil 1 European formula 0-40 . More ZZDP than regular Mobil 1. Best oil in its price range.

This subject always opens a huge debate.
I use Mobil 1 synthetic. Having said that, except for the few that see track or other extreme duty, we could all be using conventional generic Walmart brand oil without any ill effects. It boils down to what you want to spend based on what you think you know about oil or who you are listening to. |

Shell Rotella-T 5w40 full synthetic.
Yup. Diesel oil. More ZDDP, phosphorus, and magnesium than you can shake a stick at. I don't run cats, so I don't care. Add in that it is usually around $22 per gallon for a full synthetic and it's a no-brainer. http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=206230
