UPDATE: As for now, the build has been put off. Would need to find a donor car that is either a 2012, or going to have to swap this motor into a 2011 v6 car, because of so many wiring differences between 2011-2012. Sorry about this guys.

Build that engine you have now and invest in a SS of the same year. I'm sure they'll be given away here soon

Did you take all the wiring harness and control modules off the SS and move them to the LT?

Since they are different years, you have to change EVERY wire in the car. Not just the dash and engine, every one. So as of right now, the build is off.

Yeah, that's going to be a lot of work. Still, it may be cheaper than buying another car. Hang in there, you'll get it. It is just going to take some more time and patience.

Sorry to hear about that, modern cars are so difficult to work with.

I was wondering if you had talked to anyone who "tunes" Camaros. You are right, basically every wire and load needs to be factory correct for the ECM and BCM to function normally. With a tune you might be able to take care of some of these problems without switching out all of the wiring. Maybe this approach wouldn't pan out either, but I would talk to a good tuner and get their opinion. Don't give up.

What were the big changes that caused all the wiring problems?

Do you have the factory wiring schematics for both cars?

That sucks that your project is in limbo.

Don't give up your too close to completion.

Boom! Called it! Been a naysayer from the beginning. Gave you a fair warning about the problems you'd encounter but your either too stubborn or too stupid to listen. Hard to feel bad for you when you were amply warned about this EXACT problem, MULTIPLE times before you started. But Noooooo "how hard can it be?" Lol. Live and learn kid.
