When they ask to stop by a gas station to pick up some drinks before heading to the shop and the drink falls over in the bag and the numb-Nuts forgot he had shaken it up a bit and it explodes and i have to pull over on the freeway so he can throw his damn drinks out and i have him wipe up the rest on the floor mat -___-

back when I had my 3rd gen I told people NOT to close the hatch hard (as it had the servo motor that pulled it down when latched). I gave a friend a ride back from a bike shop with his bike in the back area. we stop and his apartment he gets out and opens the hatch (carefully I might add) and gets his bike out (just as carefully) then closes the hatch like a normal hatch or trunk with a 'slam'. I think nothing of it then I drive down the road and I see my hatch bouncing up and down, I had to get home and have it 'reset' so it would latch and retract back down with the hatch. and I KNOW I told my friend and others NOT do that with the hatch and that was the last time they slammed it shut.

I'm not that picky about stuff.. Finger prints, etc don't bother me. I drive the car and road grime, bird droppings, bugs, all that general stuff gets on the car.. I can clean it afterwards to get it all off. But things like leaning on the car bothers me.. Slamming the doors bothers me.. I have a 'vert, and if they ever think about closing the door by grabbing the window... Also, getting in the car with things in your pockets.. (Especially your back pocket, happened to me once but I caught him before he sat down.)
But if we are cruising, and my lady wants to put her feet up on the dash because she is getting comfortable, that is more than fine to me. I can clean the dash afterwards if there are marks, but just cruising and relaxing is what it is all about..

This is why I love that the door lock/unlock is in my center console; no one looks there. Most of my passengers don't get out of my Camaro until I let them out; they furiously search the door panel for the unlock button, while I lecture them about how to open my Camaro's door.

1. Using the window to close the door.
2. Using the convertible top rail to lift themselves out.
3. Using the A pillar to help get up.
4. Closing the door from the outside by pushing on the paint.
5. Not trying to get some of the dirt off of their shoes before they step in.

P.S. Don't tell anybody, but these are all things that my wife does. The good part is that she doesn't like to ride in the Camaro very much.
