I am in my early 50's and I never get crap riding my Harley but getting my '13 1LS was an adventure. Since for the first few years the 5th Gen was out the dealer would not even let me sit in one. Really? After getting mine I have had co-workers and many others leave nasty notes on my Camaro, in my email, and to my face that I should not be allowed to own it since it is only a V6. Idiots come in all forms and there have been times that I almost regretted buying it with all of the crap from these folks. Then I get in for my commute home and I am reminded that I bought what makes me happy.
I have always complimented others on what ever they have and listened and will continue to do so. Why? I never want to be one of those asshats that I have had to deal with belittling me and my choices.

Got crap from someone in a tricked out truck asked me what my mother would say if she saw me driving like that. 31 yrs. old not ancient but damn i spose it shoulda been taken as a compliment the guy looked younger then me. Aside from that i get alot of V6 hate from people with 4 bangers and V8's sadly the V6 hate is from Camaro owners mostly some just need to get over themselves.

There are alot of good people on this site some don't care what you drive and are always willing to help others have that attitude if it's not there's or it's not a V8 it's not worth giving the time of day. Yeah... I mean V6, V8, Camaro, Mustang, or Challenger... I don't care. If I see one of them around on the road, it makes me happy because I see a fellow muscle car owner who has an appreciation for driving a fun car. Some people just get wrapped up believing their own poop don't stink so much that they are unable to find joy in anything else.

I've never had anyone make any daddy's car comments, but my Dad is a shit poor loser, so it would be funny if they did. Plus Camaros are a dime a dozen here. Most comments I get are appreciation that mine is unique compared to the hundreds of other Camaros on the road.
