i have over 1000 pics just from my camera I spent the day going though and working on some and dropped it to just over 400 shots I like. So yea we have shots of every ones car on the track. There is no good way to post all pics in one big setting with the that kind of numbers but I am trying to fix up a few of each car and can email each person some high res pics. keep in mind each file is about 5-10 megs each after post. I am working with about 25 gigs of data just off my camera.
Also I did get all of my raw data from the camera to krazzyk01 so his friend that was also out shooting photos will have the images also, plus what he took when he was there. |

All of these pictures are awesome! Thank you so much for all the time and effort you're putting into them. I've got to get a hold of Alex, my friend with the camera and kids, and give him all of the ones David gave me. I'll keep y'all posted.

I have to say, I was very impressed with The Driveway. I was disappointed we didn't run the full track all day, but understand why it was structured that way. Prior to this track, I hadn't driven decreasing radius turns or tight turns where you had to turn the wheel more than 90 degrees... The classroom and instructor time was extremely valuable at teaching the proper techniques. Now I need to work on consistency.
Here is the video I had from the last session, drove until I ran out of gas. Nice meeting y'all https://youtu.be/kkZBW4AYwgA |

I gotta get up there. After talking with Ray and Jerry I really missed out. This is exactly what I was looking for as an intro to road racing. I wanted structured foundation with both class room and track. Its obvious there is a science behind this with techniques that need to be mastered before moving on to the next. I'm glad the weather held out for you all and the pictures look amazing. I'll be home in August but the priority there is the Fest. Perhaps I will see if I can squeeze this class in if there is availability after the Fest.

Nice video. I wish I hadn't given up playing with my GoPro. LOL I would've liked an angle like you have of my own. I did get a slightly different view. Check out this video from under my car looking forward. I used a sticky mount stuck on the spare tire well. I was not expecting the camera to get as hot as it did under there. If it had been any hotter I probably would have dropped it when I removed it after the run.
For those of you that heard the banging/popping sounds coming from my car see if you come up with the same answer I did. Watch the center section jump every time the popping is heard. The first video is the forward facing under car shot. http://youtu.be/m_E8Stf_DSk This second video is from the same vantage point except facing out the back of the car. Unfortunately, these are the only two videos I got. The camera didn't seem to like being as "warm" as it got. This video is of the lead/follow on the full length circuit. That was a ton of fun! http://youtu.be/EviRV6YFkGQ I was somewhat surprised by how many rocks got chucked at this camera. If you watch closely you'll see some of them get chucked a very long way back. I'm also thinking about going back this Wednesday for a single open track session if anyone is interested. All depends on the weather.

If any of you have suggestions as to when we should try and do the Advanced course let me know. I'll get that set up once we come up with a plan. I'm thinking I wont need to work so hard this time to convince y'all it's a great time/event. LOL
