Side Pipes

I was thinking about putting the stainless works side pipes on my 13' SS. Does anyone know how the ground clearance is on them and if they work well with cutouts.

I would call the company, here is the link to the product, going off this picture its looks like you still have a good amount of clearance.

Looks like its at the same level as the pinchweld. They are pointed more down then out. So clearance should not be a issue.

I would like to hear one with a factory NPP installed

I thought you meant the old school ones that run up the side of the car , that would be a cool option...

I wonder if the side pipe kit comes with block outs for the OEM exhaust holes...

I doubt it. But I just had a thought... Would look pretty cool to get some ZL1 rockers and have some custom exhaust holes installed in them for this exhaust.

Seems odd how they would just cut a hole out of the stock pipes and put these on... Shouldn't you cut the stock exhaust off?

This doesn't remove the system, it adds to it. Just like the side exits on a BOSS 302. Sorta like cut-outs that are open all the time, but are not in direct path or be like if you drilled a hole in your muffler or when your car gets old and your exhaust rust out and makes a hole.
